"If I can stop one Heart from Breaking,I shall not Live in Vain,If I can Ease one Life the Aching,I shall not live in Vain" Jeevodaya was established on August 15th 1991, in Chennai, India. It is one of the most humanitarian and challenging projects of our times in India. A group of committed people belonging to various religions and from different parts of the country have come to gether with the noble aim of rendering continuing service to the "POOR & ABANDONED CANCER PATIENTS". Jeevodaya is thus a supreme example of National Integration and Unity. It is therefore Providence that has most appropriately ordained that JEEVODAYA DAY should coincide with the country's INDEPENDENCE DAY-15th August. Jeevodaya is a A CHARITABLE and NON PROFIT ORGANISATION. Jeevodaya’s services are now available to all cancer patients irrespective of their social status or the stage of the disease they are in.
